Lehi Roundup Rodeo

Recently found myself at the Lehi Roundup Rodeo with some friends from my new ward and thoroughly enjoyed my experience there. This was only my second rodeo experience (although I still have no explanation as to why that is - I should have attend so many more for having grown up in TX). My first rodeo was in Wyoming with my grandfather, a true cowboy, my mom thinks I get  my country roots from him, I'd agree with her.
To sum up my experience, I loved every second. I loved seeing the Stetsons and belt buckles, cowboy boots, plaid shirts, etc. One of my wishes as a little girl was to be a barrel racer in fact - maybe that dream will come someday -we'll see.
The down home country feel is what I love the most. I hope to have that someday!

Texas Longhorns and young cowboys - rodeo openers.
Bucking broncos - a great event to watch! Such an exciting event - one of my favorites.

A&J Engagements

Another happy couple! Congrats to Amy and John - I truly enjoyed taking their photos and both were such good sports through the whole thing - we visited Castle Park in Lindon, UT, and Cascade Springs. Loved the locations and these two are just cute together.

Bees In Love

This post has been a long time coming - but here it is finally! I was lucky to be able to shoot my old roomie, Brooke's, engagement photos! It was so much fun to see Brooke and Evan being cute all morning - we took this photos out in Kamas, UT.
This weekend I found myself in Kaysville - hiking with Amanda and some new friends. It was a longer/harder hike than expected, but absolutely worth it at the end. The trail takes you up to a waterfall and some amazing views. How grateful I am for nature and God's creations, as well as for my best friend. She has been a rock for me for a long time. Felt a little closer to my OR home on this particular adventure.
